The eyes on this child. She is just the cutest. Seriously.
Today, our baby girl turns two! This fact has pretty much leaves me at a loss for words. Fortunately, I came across a sweet poem that captures my thoughts perfectly:

But, after all of our guests had gone home, I bribed my little blueberry girl with a macaroon or three and took a few images before taking down the decorations.

After being spoiled with the most delicious pancake breakfast made by my own family, I went to capture some images of this beautiful one. I could not have had a more lovely Mother's Day morning.
This little fellow had the best cheeks, the sweetest disposition, and an early love for cars!
Sometimes, the weather is just perfect. Sometimes, the kids are just in a great mood. Sometimes, the session just flows. This was one of those evenings. I love this little family of four and loved capturing how they love each other.
I was excited take a trip back to my old D.C. neighborhood to capture this sweet family of three. Such a beautiful life they are building.
Hello! I have fallen a bit behind on my blogging. I'd love to catch up starting with this sweet spring session. The blossoms may have been short-lived this year, but we were able to find a few holdouts. I think there is nothing more pretty than the District in bloom.
This is David. He is perfect and his parents are naturals. I can't wait to show you some more images soon.
I have to admit that sometimes I find it very difficult not to nibble on my clients. Look at this child.
This beautiful child was a living doll. Those big blue eyes, that porcelain skin and those cheeks! Simply a doll.
I am pondering a bit of a foray into film photography. I like the idea of challenging myself to capture the framing, the light, the subject correctly the first time. I will also rather enjoy the immediate gratification that comes along with an instant camera. For now, my only question is whether to go mini or wide? Both are seemingly excellent options for this dabble in film.
Here is just the tiniest peek from a recent newborn session. Seeing how much the older child loved her baby sister was so, so, so very sweet.
I wasn't an early adopter of the iPhone. Now, I don't know what I would do without it. What I love, above all else, is that it allows me to capture so many everyday images of my daughter. All of those tiny moments that end up meaning everything.
I do not know a better way to welcome this new year than with pictures of this new tiny life. Happy New Year!
As fall is heading into winter, I figured it was time for another installment of tiny fashion. Maybe the images look a bit more like baby mugshots than a toddler photo shoot, but it is beyond cute that N can now follow directions and "go stand against the wall" to humor me and my camera.
Thank heavens for little girls!
